Vivaldi Transport được thiết kế sử dụng cho cả CD và SACD. Tất cả xử lý tín hiệu trong đầu đĩa Vivaldi Transport là độc quyền của dCS.
Vivaldi Transport sử dụng cơ chế TEAC Esoteric VRDS Neo ™ sử dụng cấu trúc siêu cứng và động cơ không chổi than với bánh đà nặng để quay đĩa ổn định.
Để tăng cường độ tinh khiết của nguồn cung cấp năng lượng và cách ly cơ chế với thiết bị điện tử, Vivaldi Transport có thiết kế khung hoàn toàn mới có các mạch điện riêng cho các bộ phận xử lý kỹ thuật số và cơ chế CD / SACD. Điều này cho phép hoạt động gần như im lặng.
DCS Vivaldi CD/SACD Transport có đầu ra Dual AES hỗ trợ DSD được mã hóa (dữ liệu 1 bit ở tốc độ 2.822MS / giây) cho bộ xử lý dCS từ CD hoặc SACD. Vivaldi Transport cũng cung cấp tùy chọn tăng dữ liệu CD lên DXD (dữ liệu 24 bit ở 352.8kS / giây) hoặc DSD / 128 (dữ liệu 1 bit t 5.644MS / giây) và truyền dữ liệu này qua cùng giao diện AES kép.
SACD được phát ở định dạng DSD gốc, một lần nữa sử dụng giao diện Dual AES. Dữ liệu CD gốc có sẵn từ 4 đầu ra PCM (1x AES / EBU, 2x S / PDIF và 1x SDIF-2), như dữ liệu SACD được ghép xuống.
